Thousands of years in one voice
“I do not make music for you to see me. I make it for you to see yourself.”
RADHIKA VEKARIA
Where the sound has lived.
Sung in Sanskrit, Dravidian languages, and English, Radhika's work draws contemporary composition into contact with Vedic sciences and her East African and Indian heritage - global soundscapes built from ancient roots.
Her performances are environments, not shows - built with the same precision as the rooms that hold them. That precision has carried her to the Clive Davis Theater at the GRAMMY® Museum, Sanders Theatre at Harvard, Estelle Manor, an intimate evening for Naviva, A Four Seasons Resort, and an immersive astrophysical work built with NASA–JPL. Each room asked for something different. Each time, the sound answered.
