Life is a battle. From the first cry for breath in the human body to the tumultuous storms raging in our minds, existence is a relentless journey.  Spirituality, misconstrued as a passive retreat into silence, is, in truth, an active and dynamic pursuit of something greater. It is the resolve to unveil our highest selves, and overcome obstacles with grace and resilience. This is the essence of "Warriors of Light," an album born from the crucible of struggle and illuminated by the celestial sound of ancient mantras and chants.

For many, the battles we face are evident.  For others, they are hidden, gnawing away at our spirit from within. My personal struggle has always been with my voice. From childhood, I have wrestled with a chronic speech impediment, a relentless adversary that for years, silenced me and kept me locked in a cage of quietude. The world became a battlefield where words failed me, and silence was both my prison and my tormentor.

In my darkest moments, when words abandoned me, I rediscovered something I naturally went to as a child, ancient Eastern chants.   The transformational resonance within Sanskrit and Tamil mantras and chants became my allies, their powerful vibrations a bridge to a deeper truth and state of being. These were not just words but potent sounds imbued with the wisdom and strength of millennia. These sounds became a sword, each chant a beacon of light piercing through the darkness.  The silence finally began to release me and I found my voice.

"Warriors of Light" is a testament to this journey. Each track is a celebration of divine energies and manifestations that embody the warrior spirit. Using a blend of Sanskrit, Tamil, and English, I sought to create a sonic tapestry that resonates with the power and beauty of these Vedic and Dravidian chants. Interwoven with english throughout, each ancient language adds its own unique vibration, creating a rich, immersive experience that transcends time and space

This collection is more than music; it is a call to action, an invitation to embrace our struggles and keep leading with the Soul’s dharma. It is a reminder that we are not alone in our battles, towards light. Life is an oscillation between peace and purification. So "Warriors of light" can be listened to from track 1-9, or from 9-1.  From purification to peace, or from peace to purification.  You will know which way to listen and where your soul is leading you.

In sharing this album, I offer a piece of my heart, a chronicle of my own battles and triumphs. I invite you to let these ancient sounds wash over you, to find strength in their resonance. Let "Warriors of Light" be your companion in the journey from darkness to light, a testament to the warrior spirit within us all. I bow to each and every one of you. Because true victory is remembering who we are.
